In this project, we found and see Pertiwi as a totem, in which Fertility we find as one of the important notions. Fertility is a very strong message that comes across items related to Pertiwi, especially the cultural and art related ones.

Ida Bagus Njana is one of the artists we first encounter that talks about Pertiwi and fertility. He created different types of Dewi Pertiwi (Goddess of mother earth) sculptures using wood throughout his career.
